Our Pistachio Pie has been here since the beginning of Pangea, and has definitely become an Evansville favorite. This pie features very unique toppings, such as pureed pistachios and Italian sausage.
For our pistachio puree, we use roasted and salted pistachios and puree them with olive oil imported from Italy. This olive oil is very high quality and meets the criteria for making traditional Neapolitan pies. Next, we add sausage for an added kick of spice and top it with mozzarella cheese and Mike’s Hot Honey for added flavor. These ingredients come together nicely, creating a perfect balance of sweet and salty.
The Pistachio Pie has quickly become a staple here and is truly unique to Pangea. It’s just like our other signature dishes such as our Trinity Meatball and Drunken Noodles. You can’t just get that anywhere else in Evansville. We are proud to continue bringing these new food experiences to our community and we strive to consistently exceed expectations.
