Pangea Pizzeria is located inside the beautifully refurbished National Biscuit building, which dates back to 1894. Our pizzeria was founded with a clear mission: to bring world-class pizza to Evansville, blending the traditions of Pangea Kitchen with new and exciting twists.
As the 3rd concept by local restaurateur, Randy Hobson, has a true sense of what Evansville is looking for when it comes to food – and it’s reflect in every bite of this pizzeria.
Randy spent 25 years traveling the world for his corporate career and was always inspired by the diverse cuisines he experienced abroad. Hobson set out to create a restaurant that would introduce authentic, globally inspired flavors to his hometown.

Pangea Pizzeria specializes in Neo-Neapolitan pizza, crafted with artisanal ingredients either made in-house or sourced directly from Italy and local vendors. The dough is developed through a long fermentation process, resulting in incredible flavor and a crispier crust—perfect for both whole pies and by-the-slice service.
Menu highlights include:
- Neo-Neapolitan Pizzas: Available in 14-inch and 18-inch sizes, with a variety of meat and vegetable options. Expect unique toppings like marinated onions, pistachio puree, and house-made Calabrian chili honey, as well as classics finished with freshly grated Parmesan and infused olive oils.
- Daily Slices: Perfect for a quick lunch, featuring rotating selections from the full menu.
- Housemade Gelato & Sorbet: Made fresh daily at Pangea Kitchen using traditional Italian equipment and ingredients, offering both classic and experimental flavors.
- Cookies: Oversized, housemade cookies that pair perfectly with gelato for a decadent treat.
Every detail matters—from grating Parmesan fresh after baking to using infused olive oils for finishing touches. The menu also features a few favorites from our flagship restaurant, Pangea Kitchen, but most offerings are new, emphasizing traditional recipes with a creative twist.
